/What we did in Perth.../

Day 1 (28th May)
- Left for Changi Airport at 6.30 am and Wani got a surprise farewell from her family. She did not even know where she was going...just followed blindly.
- 4 hours in Qantas plane (sleeping,eating,watched movies,play games)
- Reached Perth around afternoon..headed down to Criterion Hotel at Hay Street.
- Found out that Mak's fave cafe, Oleh-Oleh was just 4 shops after the hotel.
- Since its was close to 5.00 pm, we walked through the park towards the Bell Tower.
- Took the free Blue CAT bus back to the hotel.
- Early night sleep.

Day 2 (29th May)
- Woke up to a rainy & cold morning (18 degrees) and have breakfast in the hotel rooms (bread & Nutella)
- Book the Tree Top Walk tour for tommorrow with Lobster lunch for everyone.
- Me & Abah walked up to Adelaide Terrace to try to hire a Terrago (8-seater MPV). Got one for the day at A$120 including insurance.
- Drove up to Mirabooka to a Kak Rahimah & Abang Zainal's house for a visit. They have migrated to Perth more than 10 years ago. Journey took about 20 minutes from Perth City. Saw the public schools and houses along the way. Very cosy & quiet. Had a mini lunch of roti & kari daging at Kak Rahimah's place. Since the 2nd son worked at a bread factory, she presented us with a loaf of bread for the journey back home.
- Went to Masjid Al-Taqwa which was a little bit rundown but it was closed except for prayer times. No administration people around unlike our mosques in Singapore.
- Time to drive across the Swan River to the south side of Perth. Headed down to East Cannington where our friends, Nora & Hisham are staying with their 4 kids for this year. Houses are more neater than the northern part. Newer also but according to my research...it has one of the highest rental rates in Perth.
- Spent lunch time with my friends, the twins (the 2 older ones were in school) and plus Hisham's parents who were staying for 3 months.
- Checked out Langford Islamic College where Hanis & Nadia went to school. Talked to the teacher on the curriculum and also the registration procedures.
- Headed back to the hotel since we had to return the car by 5 pm.
- Ate dinner at Insan Cafe at Murray Street. I think they hailed from Malaysia...food not as delicious as Oleh-Oleh.
- Rest and relax

Day 3 (30th May)
- Woke up early again and headed down to the pick-up area for the Tree Top Tour booked under Pinnacles.
- Dropped by Doonberry for afternoon tea before proceeding to the Diamond Tree.
- By lunch time, we reached the Diamond Tree. Abah climbed halfway before complaining that his legs went crampy due to the coldness.
- Had lobster lunch which was excellent.
- During the bus ride, Wani gotten dizzy and sick!! Kudos to Fuad for cleaning up the mess. Abah tried but he also ended up sick tooo!!
- Reached the Tree Top Walk. Nothing like the HSBC Tree Top!!! This one more shiok and has one of the most beautiful scenery.
- Headed back to the hotel at almost 9 pm. Cleaned up and rest.

Day 4 (31st May)
- We took our time to wake up since not much activity lined up except shopping.
- Had breakfast, walked around town, shopped at the souvenier shop beside our hotel owned by a pretty Indonesian.
- Our Airport shuttle picked us up around 12 pm and we spent the rest of the remaining time at the Perth International Airport.
