This is my workstation in the study room. Finally, I am comfortable with the setting after kept rearranging the furnitures every few months. My corner is equipped with 2 notebooks, 1 desktop, 1 printer, a small battery-operated radio although I have a big one near the fax machine over at another wall. Almost every night, after dinner and tv, I will spend my time here (of course with the 3 kidz doing their stuff behind me). Today my table is cleaner compared to previous days where all my accounts sheets and opened letters lying all over the table. Tried to clean up the table every now and then. As you can see, I am crazy over notebooks and PCs. When my other friends splurge on jewellery, I splurge on notebooks. I love my iBook which is the latest addition to the computer family. One rule that the kidz learn is never MESS around with my stuff!!!

/Air Supply Concert/

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
"Here I am, the one that you love...."

"Making luv out of nothing at alllllllll"

"You're every women in the world to me...."

These are some of my fave Air Supply songs..had a blast good time at the indoor stadium (although more subtle than the Duran Duran concert few years ago). Abah brought along his binoculars this time round so that he could see up close but not personal unlike 'some people' (whom I cannot mention their names, you know who you are..ha ha).

Can't imagine that these guys started in 1975 (when both me & Abah were only 4 years old). Yet their songs remain as evergreen as their voices. One of those people who don't change the way they sing (include Simon Le Bon too).

My Birthday Wishes for 2005 -Kisses
Lots of love to my kids...wish they will be filial and cute always. Thank you for dedicating a birthday song to me although you guys performed at Botanic Gardens this morning while I was at work.
To my dear husband, try not to be 'cheeky' all the time. Thank you for the dinner at Bali-Thai plus the Air Supply concert tickets. We shall enjoy all the fave songs tomorrow night (minus the kids...sorry Cik Ad & Maman..got to babysit again tomorrow.)

/Happy Abah's Day/

Sunday was a special day for Abah..however, he did make a mistake thinking that last weekend was HIS DAY!!!! It was also the last day of his LTC camp at Labrador MOE Adventure Camp. Me, Muhd & Danish slept over on Saturday nite to join the campfire night. His greatest present (I think) for Father's Day was that this year's camp was his best (so far) in his 10 years of teaching. Plus the students (all Sec 3 kidz) wished him 'Happy Father's Day' very the loudly. Went back to rest and had dinner at Simpang Bedok. Tomorrow he planned to go and relax on his own at Labrador Park (all by himself-his own Father's Day present.
May you be the best Father to your kids!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comWe are all so lonely today and the next few days (til Sunday) coz our dear Abah has school camp at Labrador MOE Adventure Camp. Last year, we stayed with him but this year since each & everyone of us have activities, we can't follow him. The boys were very restless and that little girl in the pic, has been a pain in the neck. Kept crying & whining, esp after kena scold for 'bullying' Danish. If Abah was around, he's the one who will keep her busy and make sure she does not disturb the rest. Maybe this Saturday we will join you, Abah, for campfire night (but must minus talkative Sabryna). Sleep well....

/Arin's wedding in KL/

Whoooiiii..what a buzy weekend we just had. Still not yet recovered from the 'jag lag' esp from all the long travelling on the road. We set off for Arin's wedding on Friday afternoon. Thought we could reach Country Heights Resort in 4-5 hours but as usual Abah liked to make the wrong turn. So we ended up in Putrajaya. Country Heights was just after the tol booth!! But never mind, since we still got some light (going to be night time)...we were able to view the buidlings eg...the PM office, mosque, Allamanda Putrajaya (shopping centre) etc, etc, etc.

By the time we reached the gang, it was Maghrib. We then went out to have dinner at Allamanda Putrajaya. The kids were pretty excited since they get to play with Sufi, Juliana & Iman. The most memorable moment of the first night was that we all thought Iman got lost. We searched high & low knowing that he will not be able to response effectively even if he was found by strangers. While the rest of us were searching, Iman was actually playing in one of the kiddy rides. We all sigh & sigh & sigh. The father, who went to melepas in the toilet, was not affected by the whole event. He kept gushing over how hi-tech the toilet was. Poor Yati...mother & son cried (Iman cried not knowing what's happening, I think).

Another usual event...was that Sabryna lost one of her slippers (like Cinderella) in the drain. We thought we could retrieve the slipper but alamak...the drain was deep lah!! So too bad...no slipper or shoes so Abah got to carry...he he he.

The next day, after breakfast we drove to the Waterfall in Semenyih. Missed a turn and ended up further than what we had planned. Om & family was left behind...no contact since no network. But we did get to be at the waterfall (for half & hour only!!). Again we got lost and this time we went to Kajang. I noticed this trip we had to pay a lot of 'zakat' to the toll booth. Back at the resort, we rested for the Nikah night.

Night came...when we set off...a little kecoh coz Arin left the I/C in the room and key was with Abg Ram. Upon reaching, we were served dinner (ikan keli) before the Nikah. Had to go through 3 times since the bride's father kept mispronouncing Arin's name. Then...yeah yeah yeah Arin dah kahwin!!!! While waiting for the majlis berinai (which I could not bother to see since too many people in the house), the kompang guys played and sang...'Enjit Enjit Semut'. So hilarious!!! I heard Om & Herman sang along with them while my kidz & the father played the game. I managed to capture the pic!!!

Sunday came and we went for breakfast in Putrajaya. Got Zac & Jasmin & Rian to meet us there. We noticed that the houses and streets are well planned. Zac said it reminded her of Singapore. Muhd & Danish vomitted since they couldn't seem to take the normal food that we were exposed to the past few days.

We set off for the sanding at 1pm. Hot but there were industrial fans everywhere. As usual we parked ourselves in front of the fans. At 3pm, while the rest of them return to the resort, we set off to Singapore since me & Hajar had to work on Monday. Returning back, we detoured to Tangkak to eat durian and stopped at City Square to eat sushi. By the time we reached home, it was past midnight.

Overall quite ok. We get to hear stories from Abg Kadir about China (since he just returned from there). So now I hope to plan that in Dec, we can all travel to China then proceed to Hong Kong for the DisneyLand.

Ohhhh for those who missed the wedding, click on the pictures on the sidebar.

This is Muhammad suntanning at Sentosa Beach today. After sending mummy to work & Sabryna to school, the three 'bachelors' went to Sentosa instead of Abah's original plan. He had wanted to take a train to JB. Brought along the passports but since the 2 boys objected sooo much, he decided to detour and went to Sentosa. Danish was all black when they returned. Too bad Sabryna & mummy cannot come, if not can enjoy the day together.

/Sofea Nabiela's birthday party by the beach/

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Finally...the last birthday party for the day!!! We also get to finally meet Nabiela for the first time on her first birthday. She is, by the way, Puteh's daughter (Abah's cousin). That makes me the aunty. We also get to hangout with the rest of the kids (Minah's children) and Saiful, who was not seen for a very long time. For those who don't know, he is my brother-in-law. So many stories he kept to tell us. Sometimes very funny!!! Ask about his exams, first said very good, then not so good, then medium, then ok ok aje...exactly like Danish. The 3 kids clung to him most of the time. I think they missed him too... Now that we get his handphone number, we going to sms him everyday til he runs out of his top-up card!! Hee hee.... This time he became brave enough even to tease his brother, Abah!! I guess he grows up already!!!

We were at Elya's birthday party. She's 3rd this year, same as Sabryna only she is a lot bigger. Ilham has grown from the last time we saw him. Now he can chuckles and make little baby talk. Very cute!!! Yani complained to everybody that she was bullied by Elya everyday. Poor Kakak Yani. We bought her cooking set so that she can play with the big sister. We ate roti jala, mee hoon goreng and cute epok-epok. We ate and ate until we were so sleepy. Abah managed to snooze for a while before we headed for another birthday party.

/Sunday morning @ Sembawang Park/

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The kids spent the sunday morning at Sembawang Park after dropping me off at Assyafaah mosque. From the photos, they enjoyed themselves very much. I only heard one complaint from Danish which was they were not allowed to swim. Told them that they will enjoy the swimming later on at East Coast. After they picked me up from the mosque, we went shopping for the birthday girls - Elya and Sofea Nabiela.

/BBQ @ Aloha Loyang/

Hello everybody...yeah school holidays are in already!! But alas, I started work so not much time to spend with the kids plus my financial services dah 'happening' already. However, we managed to squeeze in a BBQ last Sat at Aloha Loyang. After waiting & trying since 1998 (that was the last time we were there!), we managed to get a bungalow at only $360. Excited to bbq..that I did not wait til night time. Started in the afternoon under the hot sun with an umbrella, of course. Now I know why we most likely to bbq at night. Grandmother came along..she thought it was my house!!!! Ha ha!! The last time in KL, she thought the place that they stayed was mother's house. We kept worrying that she ventured out!! Like small kid..(Ayu!!! Terlepas lagi!!)

Check out the photo album...for pictures taken mostly by Muhammad.
