/Sabryna's thoughts/

Image hosted by Photobucket.comToday I woke up very late. Actually my Abah bathed me at 6.30 am but as usual, I continue sleeping. So when Mummy had to send Abg Muhd to take the school bus downstairs, she had to carry me. But later, both of us found out that Abah taking MC today. So I continued dreaming with Abah while Mummy went to work. Woke up close to 12. Syok!!! I thought I can hang around with Abah at home but he sabo me. He sent me to child care centre. By the time we reached there, all my friends were sleeping already. Since I just woke up...I sucked my thumb while playing with the teachers. Now I am very active and disturbing Abah. My two brothers slept already after kena scolding from Mummy. How to sleep??? Look at my big EYES!!!

/Destination - Oman/

The city of Oman will be a great place to work and stay for a year. The capital is called Muscat and it has 4 seasons unlike Singapore. Best time to visit will be in April and October where it will be pleasantly warm. It is lined with stunning beaches.

We are all rooting for nyonya to fulfill her dreams to experience to be an expat nurse since 'all' the patients in Singapore & Indonesia 'know' her face already. Went through the interview today and just need to fulfill the necessary paperworks before zooommmmmming...off to Oman. Who knows she will get hook to an Omanian guy over there...

Today was Sabryna's first ballet lesson @ Safra Toa Payoh. She was very excited since yesterday and today she was perfectly happy and enjoying herself. The class was 45 minutes from 1pm. At the end of the class, the teacher said she was perfect and has potential. She followed instructions and smiling all the way. After that, she was so 'hao lian'! Kept posing and dancing....

/Wedding @ Pontian/

Last Saturday, we hired a van to take us to a wedding @ Pontian, JB (rumah Abg Sarip-Nyai's grandson). Since Abah doesn't know how to go there, we had to rely on the van driver. Muhammad & Danish could not follow us because of their swimming and Mandarin classes. We started the journey as early as 8 am. By the time we reached the kampung, it was only 10 am. While waiting for the other van (Nyai & the rest of the gang), we took a stroll in the kampung. Not much has changed since my last visit (about 10 years ago).

When Maiti & the rest arrived, the 'kitchen' also came along. They brought along snacks and cold drinks. I think we made quite a sight since the rest of the kampung people looked at us one kind. Those who are not familiar with us probably think that we didn't think their food are great. The food was by my standard not that exciting at all. The men folk did all the cooking while the women folk helped out in the packing. They put all the nasi berkat in a wheel barrow and parked at the entrance. Stylo!!!

I took as many pictures as possible and made friends with the children. Don't even know how related I am with them. This one a bit complicated. Probably take ages to understand. All my grandmamas came and get to meet with all their JB counterparts.

/The last day of the school break/

Today is Friday...the last day of the 1-week break where the kids (excluding Sabryna) and the father get to enjoy. So they coerced me to take one day leave from work to hang out with them. We started out the day eating prata at Moonstone Lane and then proceeded to do our immediate errands to Great Eastern Life HQ and exchange our SCV cable set for a digital one. Along the way, since there were Hush Puppies sale and Branded sale at Suntec, I stopped by and spent $100 plus on shoes, pants and tops. Long time never shop (lepas kan GIAN!!).

We had hi-tea at Cafe Vienna, a very noisy one also. I preferred our hi-tea there as a couple. Can concentrate eating!!! The three of them have very little appetite so they got bored very fast and started running around. After Asar prayers, we headed down to our fave place..Borders. I bought for them a card game tricks book so that we can have fun later. But alas, when we set up the new digital cable set-top, we found out that we could get access to the cartoon channels free for today. So now they are lazing around in front of the tv watching cartoons. HMMMM!!

Abah very SIAN...since next monday starts work again. As for me, I am as per normal except I missed shopping and lazing around with my friends. Those days are gone (for a while...I hope). Tomorrow me, abah and Sabryna will be heading to Pontian, Johor to attend a wedding of a relative. Thinking of just wearing pants & top but definitely not baju kurung. Malas seh!

/School break/

The kids and father are enjoying themselves since schools are closed for the term. Muhammad decided to do up a time table to make sure he enjoys the hols to the fullest. No nap time he said! Yesterday, he finally accomplished his riding the 2-wheeler bike that was bought last July. He went rollerblading to day and yesterday with Abah and his students. Danish stayed over at Mak's place while poor Sabryna attended childcare.

Abah will be heading down to JB tomorrow with his friends. Now that I am working in a fixed schedule, I cannot tag along as usual. Not like previously, when I called the shots (when to work and when to take a break). Never mind...I shall order lots of VCDs and things to eat.

/Cable Car Adventure/

As planned, yesterday we celebrated Fuad's birthday by having a CABLE CAR ADVENTURE RIDE. We even managed to drag mother and received a bonus..Hambali and Zuhri. Mother was extremely quiet until the ride ended. The kids were very excited and surprisingly, they were not afraid at all. Sabryna's mouth was all the way 'noisy'. As for me, since I am very nervous of heights...of course a little bit scared la.

We started from Harbour Front and took a stop at Mount Faber to enjoy the sights. After spending almost an hour there, taking photos and looking for squirrels and found an earthworms, we headed back to the Harbour Front and ate at Breeks. We returned home tired but happy. We had a good night sleep so that we can be fresh for Zetty's engagement event today.

For the 1st time in this year, I managed to wake up late on Sunday since there was no Madrasah. We had breakfast prepared half by Abah and me. After Zuhur prayers, we headed to Tampines to attend Zetty's engagement event. The fiance never came but we had fun eating the cakes and the rest of the food. The main topic of the day was to find out if there was any new pregnancy happenings...Odah not yet confirm but got hope, Su & Dali still keeping quiet but smiling about (we shall wait & see if the rumours are true) and Fais is due to go for 'check-up' at KKH (ha ha)

/Lunch time YUMMMYUMMM/

Went back home for lunch since the mosque will be dominated by guys for Friday prayers. Thought of sitting in my room but through the glass door I can see them, they can see me...Paiseh lah~~ So I packed up my bags and brought back the mutton briyani (my fave) home. Now got nobody to talk to since all my friends should be busy praying. The chinese pulak should be busy having lunch so I shall not disturb them. Nanti choke how??

I went to collect my new letter box keys. Look brand new just like the letter boxes. Soon they will be finishing up with the upgrading works. Now left the decor side aje. Interior checks will be done for the last time tomorrow afternoon. After that YAHOO...looking forward when there is no drilling, no gondola going up and down and no foreign workers hanging around. I did make friends with a few of them..the cute ones only since it seems they are the only ones that can speak English. Upgrading works can be horrifying you know. Take example, the eve of the first day they were supposed to start the interior works in our house, our kitchen kena flooded with water. Lucky not sewage but bleach water. After that the kitchen pipings had to be dismantled twice because of leaking problems below. Now as I am typing, I can hear the gondola going up and down outside my kitchen. Once when the gondola was outside the bedroom window, I was in the toilet. So I had to wait till they went up. If not, xrated show da!! Told Anis to put up curtains in the master bedroom but he said no need since it is going to get dirty very often cos I always leave the windows open even when I am not in. What's the point he said!

Last night he came back from camp. So the 3 little musketeers were very excited. They were even willing enough to rub mango lotion on the father's body and massaged him. The one that missed him most is Sabryna. The other two never really asked about him...kesian.. Luckily the past 2 days, she went to child care without crying on the way. If not, I had to drag a crying girl all the way and all the makcik-makcik and aunty-aunty must be thinking I am a bad mother.

/Lepak time with American Idol/

Resting after a hard day's work. Time to watch the American Idol. Getting tired of the show format already but this time the guys are brilliant. Practically all can sing, even the ones kena kick-out last week. Now the older rocker 'Bo' is singing. Boleh lah...at least this time round they brought in 2 rockers. If not asyik ballad aje.

I picked myself up already after yesterday 'tsunami'. Sampai my best friend sempat sms me and asked what happened and whether it was her. Apa saje??? She is one of my best friends who will tell me right to the face if I do something wrong. The only group that irks me are those that say behind my back.

Today FD and Glenn were talking about 'bitching'...so funny....Singaporeans are getting bolder and bolder. They are even bitching about others on air..ha ha ha

I cooked my fave food..pasta with mushrooms and prawns. But both Sabryna and Muhammad were not into it. Never mind, that means I no need to share with them.

/Depressed!!!/

Sigh...feeling kind of depressed..boring plus angry plus disappointed. Friends whom I thought can rely on, backed out from helping me. The fact that we had helped them earlier really depressed me. Don't know whether they are taking us for a ride or just using us. Life without friends is boring but with friends is even more dreading!!! Right now I am feeling the lowest level in my entire life. By tomorrow things will be normal again. I just have to pick myself up and prepare for my contingency plan to settle my predicament. Sometimes I wonder why do I ever go and help people when they approached me for help. I thought they will be people whom I can turn to in need. Never mind...my philosophy in life is that let them do what they want to do, the tables will turn around. SIGH...Abah, I NEED YOU!!! (But too bad, you are in the jungle, so cannot hear me. Should recommend that the Reservist guys be connected to internet.)
