Since Abah refused to watch Brokeback Mountain with me...I had to rope in a girlfriend who's off on a weekday to watch with me. Well...after watching it at Lido, I somehow agreed why he refused consistently (despite my pleas) to watch it.

Aside from the exchange of passionate kissings between 2 men, half of the time...I could not understand the cowboy accent. I left the cinema as confused as ever trying to recollect what were the conversation that I have missed out. Come to think about it..how did they get to win the Best Picture award? Could be because the story was about 2 gay men and how did they live their secret life. There was one conversation that I managed to catch..."...we were at the wrong place, wrong time..." which is so right! Til now, I still am puzzled over the parting words at the end of the movie..."Jake, I swear." SWEAR WHAT???
