/Sungei Buluh/

Today we woke up late, not sure why..so missed Madrasah. Abah called MacDonalds to deliver our breakfast and after that we went to Sungei Buluh Nature Reserve. He was supposed to reccee the place for the Sec 2 camp next month. Met up with his friend, Mrs Kong & family. She has 2 kids (one K2 and 4 years old).

Sabryna was very good and strong because she walked all the way at Sungei Buluh Nature Trail (which took us almost an hour to complete). By the time we finished, it was almost 3.30pm. Went to Banquet at Vista Point to have our late lunch. Muhammad still can suggest that we go rollerblading at East Coast!!! No one else agree to the suggestion coz we were all very tired already. Went home, have a little snooze and then reflect what we did today...

/Singapore, a small dot on a map../

Many times it amazed me of how small Singapore is??!!! Keep bumping to people who have some relations or were of same school previously. Over these past few days, it happened to me again!
When I was in college, I knew of this schoolmate of mine. We never meet again after that. Then I found out recently from my best friend that she's hanging out with new 'kakis' and it included him. Ha ha...(I remembered he was a shy fella...)
Then today, during dinner, a person I knew from one of the mosques and I have been working closely with her, is a daughter of one of my many 'grand uncles' (except I can't remember seeing her back in the kampung days!!). Then at Bedok Food Centre, we met 2 of kampung people who have some relations to our family tree too (mother punya kerja lah figuring who they are). So you see...having a big family (immediate or extended) can be exciting and confusing too. Lucky Abah has only few to remember by but also has disadvantages (closeness not available readily).

/The making of 'Wushu Warriors'/

Wednesday nite, the boys and Abah had their first Wushu lesson at Kolam Ayer CC. Supposed to be me & the boys but because of my course that will be starting in Oct, Abah got to take over my place since I have paid for 3 months already. For the first lesson, they were exposed to lots of stretching. Muhammad was excellent in following instructions. Furthermore he understood the Chinese words where else Abah has difficulty remembering the meaning of each word. Danish, don't say lah...as usual do his own thing!!

Back home from the first lesson, each of them lined up and showed to me what they had learn so far...semua in a mess until Danish gave up and started his own fighting show!!! He told Sabryna that he will protect her from bullies with his Wushu but looking at the picture, I don't think she needed any protection from him.

She tak mahu kalah!!! She said to everyone that when she grows tall, she will take up Wushu. When Mak disturbed her and said what if instead of tall, she grows fat!! Terus merajuk and kept quiet (for 1 second only!!!). Sabryna no need Wushu to fight off bullies. Her non-stop talking is enough to drive them away!!!

/Muhammad, the 'Monitor Lizard'/

This is a story of how a little boy was turned into a 'Monitor Lizard' last Tuesday. Danial, the former class monitor, has decided to become a naughty boy so teacher decided to appoint a new class monitor for Pri 2B. Since the most 'obedient' and apparently has become this 'teacher's pet', Muhammad was asked the magic question. Of course he was excited and accepted the appointment on the spot. Reached home and announced to the 'world'. Since Muhammad can crawled like a lizard, Mak called him instead a 'Monitor Lizard'.

/Hafiz's POP/

I have posted photos from Hafiz's POP at Selarang sometime back. Left in the camera and forgotten all about them. Looking thru the photos, one question popped into my mind!!! Why is it everytime POP, always got the group photo. Abah got bunch of them and so did all my male friends. Can's they pose in other manner ke?? I bet when it's the kids turn, they also took group photo and pose for the camera the same way as Abah did many many years ago. Anyway Hafiz...congrats for turning into a MAN. Hope you can maintain the slim and lean body. Also pray very hard so that you get into Temasek Poly end of Sept. (Then we can talk about the laptop that you have been obviously hinting all this time!)

/Visit to the Zoo & Science Centre/

This Sept hols, Abah managed to have 2 free days (wed & thurs). So he decided to become exclusive tour guide to the kids.

Wed - Zoo outing
After Hafiz's POP at Selarang, they went to the zoo. Plus Hafiz was dragged along even though he was very sleepy. Aisyah joined the group. Although she was feverish, she still continued walking (very strong but silent girl). Since it was her first time visit to the zoo, she was scared! Mother said she kep closing her eyes with her hands and hide behind people. Sabryna was noisy as usual. Only time she was quiet was when she was sleeping!!! The two boys enjoyed themselves very much!

Thurs - Science Centre outing
Since they were going to Jurong side, Abah said can call Wani along. So the kids had to wait for Wani to finish school at 1pm. She complained that Abah said 5 mins reached her school but she waited 20 mins. Abah pulak denied saying 5 mins (he said 10 mins) but Muhammad rebuked his claims (Abah sooooo forgetful). While eating lunch, Sabryna tak sempat go toilet so terkencing kat seluar. Abah made noise but never go and buy new pants for her. So poor thing (I think she regreted not bringing Mummy along)!

After Science Centre, we all had to go and meet the kids' Kumon instructor. So fetched me from work and then proceeded to the centre. Muhammad's report was excellent. He progresses very well especially for his Chinese. Danish was another matter. Everything he does in the centre, he takes his own sweet time. Sampai the teacher could not time him properly. Apatak...flipping the album also slow! But the instructor said to give him time to wake up. We all then told him in unison..WAKE UP DANISH, WAKE UP! He buat bodoh only....

Sabryna was not her usual self last night. Rupanya got fever! The childcare centre's teacher called me to ask about her missing school for 2 days. She laughed when found out that Sabryna went to the two outings.

/Sunday = Keli Day/

Thought this sunday is going to be another lazy day plus it was raining. Lucky got no madrasah so everyone slept late. Girl slept over at Potong Pasir becoz want to see Maman (Hafiz) who came back from camp for the weekend. But we went to JB. Parked at Plaza Pelangi, had a late lunch at Sushi King. After that we found out got shuttle service to Pelangi Leisure Mall. Went there but rather disappointed (tak seperti City Square or Plaza Pelangi. But we bought fresh ikan keli (now as we speak, mak is frying them in the kitchen). The man smacked the heads before he cut and cleaned them.

3x...mother going to fry them and masak lemak cili padi. Plus me tumbuk sambal belacan power punya!!! My saliva starts drooling already...ha ha ha!!

Fuad came back with a new look..courtesy of Zohri's & Hambali's uncle. Sabryna laughed & laughed to see the new look. Wish can see Zohri's mohawk hairstyle but can only imagine how cute he will be...ha ha ha

Tomorrow the boys will start their one week break. But Abah got N'level invigilation and course so can't go anywhere. Plus me working all days. Here are their time table for the week :

Mon & Tue - Muhammad has to go back to school for enrichment class
Night time maybe going to Night Safari
Wed - Hafiz's POP (Passing out parade) in the morning & zoo trip in the
afternoon
Thur - Stay at home or follow mak shopping
Fri - Same as above

now is 745pm, it should be 1145pm in singapore.i set up the netwk using my one of filipino gal laptop.not bad for someone who tend to destroy computer.hows everyone at home? i cant send photos now coz to develope it must go 10 min drive to city area.i have housemate, a jordanian gal who now on a month holiday so i am all alone!!!! i cooked rice and soup with veg n hotdogs. taste not bad. i have my own room n small living room n toilet.i bought my own tv for less then s$150.i be watching hindi cerita all day.here got 4 dogs. 3 orang punya, satu homeless. all are female but very lesbian....havent started wk yet coz need to do papar wk which take ages for these omani military men to complete. they talk more then the work itself. their office hours is from 8am till 130pm only. and if they are tired , they wont do anymore wk. so my address are
