/Take a look at my fridge/

This is the look of my fridge. The magnets are mostly free when we purchased some items especially from Pizza Hut. One look can probably know that we like to eat pizza. Also there are Abah's various photos taken in his school. We all preferred the one with out the shirt & tie. The other two made him look prim & proper.
We have the kids's photos too and also my wedding photo (in Japanese outfit). Sabryna likes to rearrange the photos every other week especially when she can't find anything interesting to eat from the fridge.

/Playing together/

Both of them like to play together every day. If one returns from school, he or she will always look for the missing partner. Danish likes to express that he misses Sabryna whenever she sleeps over at Mak's house.
But although they like to play with each other, they also quarrell a lot. One will complain of the other. The house will not be quiet unless one of them is sleeping.
Most of the time, Danish will disturb Sabryna until she cannot 'tahan' him anymore...

/Walk to the wild side - MacRitchie Reservoir/

Today Abah, me & the two boys went to take a walk at MacRitchie Reservoir. We went by the jungle trek and walk on the new board walk. The walk reminded me of my cross country days during Sec School. We took about 2 hours to finish the 5.5 km route. We went back home to rest (me slept til 4.30pm) but the two boys still active. Since we were invited for dinner at our friend's (Nurul) place, we went to pick up Sabryna & Shaffiq up.
What a tired day! Tomorrow will be the start of the new week (a busy one for me too!).

/The new 'bogeh' boy/

Finally Muhammad lost his two front teeth. All his friends have either drop theirs in K2 or P1 but for him, it was late. Abah sighhhhh saying his son is not handsome any more. As if the boy's teeth will never grow back!
He wanted to keep the teeth under his pillow hoping someone going to be a tooth fairy and give him money. AS IFFFFF!! In the end, I don't know what he did to his tooth. Looking at him now, reminded me of the time when I lost my own front teeth. I did not even want to talk. Kept looking at the mirror waiting for the new set to grow back.
For this boy, he does not seems to be affected by the changes. I am glad that he is now slowly beginning to be a discipline and responsible person. I hope the other two siblings will take after him.

/Weekend burnnt..../

Right now sitting in front of the pc to settle my outstanding accounts since month end is coming. Nampak gaya...this weekend burn lah!! Got to finish off my cases before I move on to my new working place on the 9th May. This time, it will not be too stressful since I will be working 3 times a week as a Secretary to a director of an offshore company. My new boss is very generous and flexible. But in the meantime before I can work for him, I must finish my work with Muis first. Itu yang parah...too many distractions at work especially food!!! The staff & chairman kept supplying me with food. Dah lah tu, I got to keep an eye on all the 'entities'..can't believe dlm mosque pun ada. Last thursday, it or whatever played hide & seek at the door. The last mosque I went, main pintu bilik air!!! Now I made the accounts officer never to leave me alone in the room!! Yang si EO pula started to main pintu creaking sounds to disturb me. (Actually he also scared only he never want to admit in front of me.) Also got 'clones' juga so now I look if these people feet touched the floor or not!!!

/Sunday Outing/

After Madrasah, Abah decided to bring us all (except Sabryna..coz she got to change her passport photo) to JB for Karaoke cum cutting hair session. At first a bit lazy to go coz have not recovered from the 'penat' after the bowling session on Sat. Some more, the Chai Chee Residents (Cik Yat & gang), called twice to get us to follow them hang out by the beach. But Abah very determined so..have to follow whatever chief said.
Upon reaching City Square, we took our lunch at Sushi King. Again, the staff & manager gave us problems..the service has deteriorated ever since they changed the staff and moved to basement floor. Previously, we did not have any complaints since there were no hiccups. But now??? Since we wanted to pay using HSBC card to get the discount plus the cashier hit the enter key, we had to wait for the manager to re-key in again. And we were told to let them know in advance how we are going to pay in future which I counter argued saying that the cashier should be the one to ask and not the customers especially for those who do not know of any promotions with the card centres. Apa rah??? I made a fuss (which only happened when I am very pissed) which prompted the manager to apologize several times. But then I don't feel like going there again!!!
We proceeded to Neway Karaoke at Level 5 and sang our hearts out from 1 pm to 4 pm. The two boys sang their children songs plus all Avril Lavange and N'Sync songs...Abah chose M.Nasir songs and Bumiputra Rockers song. He happy like what!!! As for me, I chose all my fave singers such as Madonna,Trademark,Avril,etc...even the Ketchup song which the two boys danced to the song. After singing, we went to teman Abah & Muhd cut their hair. We also made our way down to Kotaraya to pick up Mak's coffee and proceeded home. Surprisingly, no jam although 6 plus.
Before we fetched Sabryna, we dropped by Ikea to get my table. At first, Danish was crying becoz he wanted to continue sleeping but when he found out we were at Ikea, he was wide awake...why...because can go to the ball room and play for 1 hour. Bought my computer table and went back home.

/Me & My Treadmill/

Almost 2 weeks since I brought back the treadmill. Did my brisk walk cum jog (sometimes) for the past weeks. From Mon to Fri while I rest during weekend. So far so good. Everyday since I woke up early to wake the rest of the sleepyheads and prepare their breakfast, I thought I can squeeze 20 minutes during these time. But cannot..so the only time will be after all of them leave the house except me & Sabryna. While the little girl continued her sleep (although dah mandi pagi), I will spend my 20 minutes on the treadmill.
I realised that after the workout, I am not be easily lethargic or sleepy. Quite fresh although became even hungrier. So now must control my snacking. Can snack but have to choose the right snack.
Right now all my kids are staying over at Potong Pasir (Mak's house). So left Abah & me...supposed to go out but we are too tired today so going to watch Survivor. Got to catch up on the series of who still stay and who went out already. Not that I am a big fan..but no choice.

Rezeki comes in many forms and it can be very mysterious. If one come, it will followed with another and another and another. Last year, I spent most of my time sitting around and experimenting in trading business. It was a powerful year and I learnt a lot especially from my mistakes. Spent quite a lot and the returns were not worth the effort that I had put into. By the end of last year, I told myself that next year will be a different year for me. So now, I witnessed my rezeki increasing bit by bit. This month especially, I have received 3 work offers. Two from new contacts while one is a long-lost client (about 3 years ago). Soon, I will be busy doing things that I have enjoyed over and over again. My kids will be enjoying themselves a great deal this year. Our family's finances are already right back on track. The only worries that we will have will be how to spend quality time together.

/Lazyyy sunday/

Sabryna had a bad cough so both she & I stayed at home instead of hanging out at Madrasah this morning. Took Woods Peppermint Cough for Kids starting from yesterday. Seems a lot better except we constantly afraid she might just vomit from time to time.
So the rest of the day were spent at home. We had our afternoon nap from 2 to 4 pm. After that we went to Banquet Toa Payoh for another STEAMBOAT dinner and a quick trip to the library. Fuad's friend who lived nearby us sms him saying that she felt tremours earlier today. We did not felt any swaying though but my fork & spoon holder suddenly fell off the counter top. Thought it was the wind but it could be from the tremours. Lucky nothing happen...if not where to run???
Another week going to start tomorrow. I am going to have dinner with my dept in MUIS tomorrow night. Farewell dinner for our friend, Hafiz whos going to work in Afghanisthan as an accountant. I also thought of telling them of me leaving them sooner than what was in contract. Accepted an offer to be an assistant to Director of an offshore company. Due to start next month..quite a surprise since he offered to pay me more than what I expected. The director is generous in giving and I like the fact that I will be in charge of the S'pore office while he develops overseas businesses.
Another surprise also came on Saturday when my previous client who has businesses in Philipines called me back. Another nice person who again believes in giving generously....
My income is getting bigger bit by bit. Kind of a relief since I know that I am still in the market.

/Tingkat dinner/

Image hosted by Photobucket.com We had our first home delivered or better known as 'tingkat dinner' today. Thought of engaging the professionals to do the cooking and delivering since we are so tired of figuring out what to cook or where to eat everyday. Besides with the tingkat dinner, we can spend more time with the kids.

Our first meals were beef rendang, green veges, something that tasted like cuttlefish and fried ikan selar. I pounded some sambal belacan with mango kuini...delicious. Just need to pop these in the microwave and cook some rice, and we are ready to tuck into the food. The taste was not bad at all. We got these from Qzin, which is halal catered. Not sure what time they reached our place. Pricing is at $188 for 20 days worth of 'makan' for 2 persons. Right now we are resting, doing some houseworks and the kids are doing their spelling & writing. Previously, we were either waiting for the food to be cook or we were still at Adam Road or other fave hawker centres.

Today is the day that I brought back a treadmill home. A second hand one which is good enough for me. I have make a resolution to reduce my fats since I have increased my weight to 47.4kg. People might say its way too little compared to what they have but it is way too much for me. Plus my tummy is getting bigger and I can feel my thighs touching each other already. SIGHHHHHH!!!

We arranged the treadmill in the master bedroom, facing the window so that I won't feel bored while using it. Will keep my journey to a slim tummy in the next few weeks.

Today was a wet Saturday. The boys skipped their swimming lessons since it was raining and there was no point of going. But after 12 noon, Muhammad went for his Mandarin class while Sabryna went for her Ballet class. Today Muhammad had to give a 1-minute speech in Mandarin about exercise. Got some translation help from our next door neighbour. He memorised for 2 days and he gotten 7 marks out of 10. Not bad.

Then we picked Mak,Cik Ad,Cik Mok, Danial & Danish and headed towards Bedok library. Our dear friend, Shaffiq was having his first book launch. It was a compilation of all the cerpen that was published in BH & BM since 1984 to 2004. We are all very happy for him.

Since abah had to go for his soccer game @ VS, we dropped by East Coast and the kids enjoyed their swim there. Danial, as usual did not want to participate but he was thrown into the sea by Cik Ad & Cik Mok.

After that we went to see the latest addition into the family, Muhd Ilham. He is so cute and very attentive to his surroundings. The 'kakaks' were more excited while he just acted cool aje.
